Lakshan Chaturi is born in Fiji, now a citizen of Australia and lives in the beautiful and inspiring Samford Valley in Queensland. Lakshan is a etired primary school teacherĀ with BEd, MEd ST, Dip T Prim and Certificate in Children’s Writing. During her teaching career she was awarded Teacher Excellence level I and level II. As a teacher, she made an outstanding contribution to education as a Curriculum Coordinator, Mentor to new teachers and student teachers. She served on the Board of Teachers Education with the University of Northern Territory. Now a full time children’s book writer she dedicates her time researching issues that affect our children the most like: The Stranger Danger, bullying and obesity.
